**Gaming Center Help Desk Specialist** **(Mahara Karting - XATION)** Mahara Karting is looking for a self-motivated and skilled Help Desk, our help desk specialist is the first line of support for all IT-related issues. Job duties would include building, configuring, deploying, monitoring, modifying, and repairing all computers, local network VR games, simulators & consul games. **Responsibilities**: - Provide support to the gaming center customers on a variety of IT-related issues. - Identify, research, and resolve technical problems. - Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution. - Manage ticket requests and follow-up with Mahara staff. - Install and maintain Windows and Mac operating systems (OS). - Troubleshoot PC hardware and software. **Requirements**: - Customer Service - Outstanding customer service skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and present complex issues and analyses in an effective manner - Good organization and time-management skills - Reliability and dependability - "Can do & solve" attitude - Technical - Extensive PC hardware experience (ability to build, diagnose, and repair computers, strong troubleshooting skills) - Advanced knowledge of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows 7, 10, 11 and Apple OSX - Basic to intermediate knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) - The scheduling of the necessary updates and backups - Following up on the yearly license fees and renewal - Other - Willingness to work weekends - Good time management and organizational skills - IT knowledge and experience - Passion for gaming & technology Ability to commute/relocate: - Dammam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
