The opportunity

Project: This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed-use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assets, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced people. We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking assistant procurement manager to join our established and growing team in Saudi.

Mace is currently providing the assistant procurement manager service across phase 1 of the development.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in the management and delivery of end-to-end procurement exercises.
- Prequalifying management via standard selection questionnaire process.
- Drafting tender documents.
- Tendering issuance and management.
- Assisting in the management of the evaluation process.
- Assisting in the development of procurement strategies if requested.
- Providing support and coordination relative to the reporting requirements of the project including various briefing notes as necessary.
- Preparing star rates for non-BOQ items, project cost estimation and item rate analysis.
- Overseeing the BOQs, contract conditions, payment terms, insurances, tender reports, work orders and appointment of contractors.
- Preparing rate analysis and cost analysis for various construction items.
- Managing billing QS.
- Monitoring the cost performance of the project.
