**Job functions of a **Safety Officer** in **KSA**:

- Safety Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure that safety policies are communicated effectively to all employees and stakeholders.
- Safety Training: Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees to raise awareness of safety practices, procedures, and regulations. Provide specialized training for employees working with hazardous materials or in high-risk environments.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of the workplace to identify potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe practices. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve safety standards.

- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Identify and address safety deficiencies and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Safety Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety-related activities. Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Safety Committee Participation: Serve as a member of the safety committee, collaborating with management and employees to address safety concerns, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
