**Job Description and Qualifications**
- The Planner/Scheduler working closely with the site Maintenance, Technical, & Operations teams is responsible for providing preventative & corrective maintenance planning support which is in line with business needs for a world scale Steam Methane Reformer (HYCO), a CO2 recovery unit, an Air Separation facility, and auxiliary equipment associated with the processes for APQ in Jubail, Saudi Arabia
- Nature & Scope
- The Planner/Scheduler, reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, will focus on developing and implementing maintenance plans such that the equipment integrity and plant reliability is maintained at the lowest sustainable cost to APQ, consistent with the facility’s asset management plan. The position is responsible for the planning and execution of the scheduled and un-scheduled (emergency) plant shutdowns, insuring they are executed safely, efficiently, within budget and on schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS**

A 2-year diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrument Engineering or a trade or technical degree in the related field. 6 years’ working knowledge in maintenance planning and scheduling, shutdown/turnaround planning & execution, preventative maintenance systems, cost management, purchasing, and logistics. Experience in gas, petrochemical, or related industries a plus with a focus in an **Air Separation facility.** Demonstrated technical and practical problem-solving skills with a good business sense in the planning and scheduling field Promotes a ‘one team’ environment
- Proven coordination experience in a multi team environment which includes engineering, maintenance, and contractors

Knowledge and understanding of local environmental and health and safety requirements
