- Our client, a well-known medical facility, is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Surgical Staff Nurse, to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room (OR).
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during operations.
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and conditions before, during, and after surgery.
- Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Document all surgical procedures, patient responses, and other relevant information.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients and families.
- Assist with patient recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), ensuring safe and effective monitoring.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a clean and safe OR environment.
- Participate in surgical team meetings and continuous professional development.
**Requirements**:
- To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.- Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in a hospital setting- Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.- Current license as a professional registered nurse.- Proficient in English
