Development Director - Theme Park - Rides and Attractions (ENT604)

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for an innovative and strategic Development Director - Rides and Attractions to lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of thrilling rides and attractions within our cutting-edge entertainment destination. This role is essential in creating unparalleled visitor experiences that enhance Qiddiya's position as a premier leisure and entertainment hub in Saudi Arabia.

As the Development Director, you will oversee all aspects of rides and attractions development, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while aligning with the company's vision and objectives.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the design and development of innovative rides and attractions that align with Qiddiya's overall vision and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, engineering, and operations, to create compelling and safe visitor experiences.
- Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to assess trends, guest preferences, and competitive offerings.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient resource allocation throughout the development process.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders involved in the design, construction, and operation of rides and attractions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in rides and attractions development.
- Oversee project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by staying current on industry trends and advancements in ride technologies.
- Prepare and present project updates and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Leisure Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in the development of rides and attractions, theme parks, or entertainment venues.
- Strong portfolio of successful projects showcasing innovative development and execution of rides and attractions.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations, industry standards, and technical requirements related to rides and attractions.
- Exceptional project management skills, with proven expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying ideas and strategies.
- A passion for creating memorable and engaging experiences in the theme park or leisure industry.
