You will come from a Production or Service workshop background and have previous experience in manufacturing or servicing Emerson Pressure Management products, and associated equipment. You will have a strong knowledge of the various types of International standards and testing criteria, You will have extensive knowledge in Assembling and Repairing Pressure relief Valves and Pressure Regulators.

Responsible for new assembly, calibration and testing, associated paperwork, while working in shop environment with some field service as needed. Responsibility includes assembling, repair, calibration and modification of all makes and models of Pressure Management products of Regulators and Pressure relief valves include providing field service, supporting for inventory management, and focus on building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with product divisions.

**Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Valve Assembler for day to day operational phase shall include but not limited to the following:

- Work from Inspect and Review Bill of materials of components, specifications, drawings etc. for assembling operations
- New product assembling, Calibration, testing and trouble-shooting of valves
- Applies procedures which are described in QA Manual
- Makes sure complete product is fully in line with serial card/customer data sheet/customer requirements.
- Documentation of Assembling / testing / activities
- Various inventory control responsibilities - stocking shelves, pulling parts, cycle counting, assist in proper documentation of inventory transactions.
- Participation in field service calls, as required, at customer sites.
- Disassembly, cleanup and evaluation of parts.
- Boxing / shipping of old and new parts. Crating and packaging when required.
- Final inspection and completion of inspection report.
- Handle equipment with proper care and maintenance (1st level of maintenance)
- Daily interface with Planner regarding customer requirements and valve problems to insure on-time deliveries are met.
- With mínimal supervision, must be able to determine production schedule and have knowledge of MRP to determine available stock on hand.
- Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
- Responsible for personal safety and those around him/her. Can maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to work unscheduled overtime to satisfy emergency or critical customer shipments

**Basic Qualifications**
- Relevant Technical certificate.
- Minimum 2-3 years of technician level experience in reputed valve industry
- Knowledge of all types of Safety relief valves and Pressure Regulators,
- Effective communications in English written and verbal
- Ability to operate the valve testing machines
- Ability to perform Assembling and repairs to OEM & NB standards
- Machinist or machine operator experience a plus
- Ability to understand and effectively use general measuring instruments
- Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
