Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Wet Utilities Engineer **to join our team

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
Responsibility for Parsons’s Wet utilities Engineering for SAPL Qiddiya Infrastructure Partner (QIDP). Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) and with other delivery partners. QIC is providing strategic direction for all partners in the three-way partnership with other delivery partners on a city-wide basis. Reports directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supports the review and checks of wet utilities designs including BOQ checks and reviews and/or prepares responses to RFIs related to assigned design and construction projects.
- Reviews the scope of wet utilities design works according to the contract and monitors progress of design work by others.
- Undertakes the Technical Assurance and technical support to the Utilities project team in managing and assurance of Infrastructure design of PW, SW, IRR-main networks and transmission lines by others
- Assurance of Hydraulic modeling and Surge analysis
- Undertaking technical reviews and preparation of engineering assurance reports for Design Basis, Conceptual, Design Development, and Detailed Design) including calculations, specifications, and BOQ
- Knowledge of local (NWC, RC, MODON, Aramco) and international standards (AWWA, NFPA, ISO, BS EN)
- Software skills in Autocad or Microstation, WaterGems, HAMMER, Civil 3D
- Technical support in preparing Request For Proposal tender documentation
- Maintains awareness of the project specifications, drawings and design criteria.
- Supports the Infrastructure Design Manager in performing other tasks as deemed necessary as related to above.
- Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with minimum **7 **years’ experience in construction projects, specifically management experience across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts.
- Project Management Certified is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

- Demonstrated teamwork and management skills.
- Proven experience of working within complex construction environment.
- Ability to follow through & clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
- Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
