**Project Description**:
Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently estimated at 94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system. Riyadh’s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:
The CSA QC Inspector reports to the Lead QC Engineer and performs construction quality control activities in a technical or administrative capacity. Responsible for the performance of on-site tasks related to quality control compliance. Ensures inspection duties are in accordance with quality program. Responsible for documentation of inspection activities and maintenance of quality control records. Generally assigned to a single discipline activity interfacing with a multi-discipline operation. May have responsibility providing technical direction to less experienced construction quality control engineers. Some of the specific activities involved, but not limited to are:
**Essential Job Duties**:

- Directs functional responsibilities of subordinate quality control engineers and other inspection personnel as assigned.
- Responsible for the maintenance of technical and other pertinent documents, as directed.
- Implements quality control procedures and establishes detailed schedules for on-site inspection activities.
- Within assigned area, monitors the operations for adherence to project plans and specifications to ensure quality control compliance.
- Monitors workmanship of subcontractors and suppliers and installation of material and equipment for quality control compliance.
- Performs inspection functions in accordance with inspection plan and monitors inspection duties assigned to subcontractors and reviews results of inspection.
- Inspects and documents acceptances on construction activities and installations

**Qualifications, Experience, Job Knowledge, and Skill set Requirements**:

- A recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil/structural engineering or scientific discipline
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction of large-scale industrial / Infrastructure projects either in direct construction or construction management role
- Prior experience working in Metro projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction engineering relating to single or multi-discipline construction quality control activities
- Thorough knowledge of international standards and specification and codes as applicable, including various Safety procedures and practices associated with the construction.
- Knowledge and experience in the implementation of ES&H and quality management systems
- Experience in KSA / Middle east / GCC is preferred.
