**Position Overview**:The HSE Training Lead will be responsible for developing training materials e.g., course outlines, lesson plans, handouts, assessments etc.; establishing course aims, objectives and learning outcomes. Delivering training to client, Parsons, and contractor professional staff, and contractor and sub-contractor craft.

Managing HSE course delivery i.e., resources, scheduling, and data (e.g., attendance records, success, and achievement rates). Producing monthly HSE training data and reports, updating/maintain training matrix and other duties as directed by HSE management.

Duties and Responsibilities not limited to:

- Deliver HSE training to a multinational team.
- Develop and manage HSE training program.
- Ensure HSE training deliverables against personal and functional KPIs and Benchmarks are met.
- Ensure effective implementation of the health, safety and Environment requirements of Parsons and the Client.
- Deliver training in both field and office environments.
- Advise and assist management on HSE training needs.
- Develop assessments and training for contractors proposed competent people e.g., electrical, scaffolding, confined space etc.
- Provide support for toolbox talks, contractor training sessions, HSE campaigns etc. Providing coaching and solutions to improve performance.
- Be aware of the requirements of health, safety, and environmental legislation, particularly Saudi Arabian Labour Law and Ministerial Decisions relating to safety, as well as Royal Commission standards.
- Advise management, employees, contractors, and vendors of their responsibilities under the policies, manuals, procedures, and current legislation.
- On an ad hoc basis provide safety engineering inspections and audits of contractor’s projects (to keep skills relevant).
- Review Contractor’s and vendor HSE training programs.
- Make regular visits to premises and sites and report training, toolbox talk, pre task briefing performance.
- Represent his area of responsibility at the appropriate health and safety meetings.
- Deliver ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions when required
- Any other HSE related duties as required by the HSE Manager and/or his Deputy.

**Experience and Qualifications**:List the background experience required for the position, number of years’ experience, in what fields. Describe the desirable academic background.

**Must Have**
- Bachelor’s Degree, or a NEBOSH Diploma and 10 years of work-related experience in the field of construction safety with 3 years as HSE Trainer.
- Certified Trainer e.g., PCET, A1 Assessor
- At least 2 years’ experience gained working for a Tier 1 consultancy/construction corporation
- Good Knowledge of Safety, Construction and Engineering processes.
- Must have the ability to perform with minimum supervision and able to work with multi-national workforce.
- Must have excellent writing skill (English) to prepare training packages
- Strong computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Application including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and Power Point Presentation.

**Preferred**
- NEBOSH, IOSH and or CSP Certified Trainer
- Member of an accredited safety governing body e.g., IOSH, British Safety Council, BCSP
