**Role Overview**

**Responsibilities**

- Monitor, analyze, and control production and operational costs across manufacturing and distribution functions
- Develop and maintain standard cost models for raw materials, packaging, labor, and overheads
- Prepare detailed cost variance reports (actual vs. budget) and identify root causes of deviations
- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and production teams to ensure accurate costing data
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes with accurate cost data and accruals
- Evaluate new product costing and provide input during pricing and product development stages
- Review and analyze manufacturing efficiency, waste levels, and yield reports
- Maintain cost allocation processes and ensure consistency across departments
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting by providing reliable cost projections
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, audit requirements, and company policies

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CMA or ACCA preferred)
- 4 - 7 years of experience in cost control or management accounting, preferably within the FMCG sector
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, bill of materials, and standard costing
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a fast-paced environment
