- Design Review:

- Conduct comprehensive reviews of structural design documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications, to assess their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Analyze structural systems, components, and materials to identify potential design flaws, deficiencies, or areas for improvement.
- Evaluate the structural integrity and stability of building designs, considering factors such as loading conditions, environmental impacts, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to address design challenges, provide technical recommendations, and optimize structural performance.
- Code Compliance:

- Ensure that structural designs adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to the International Building Code (IBC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) standards, and local jurisdictional requirements.
- Review design modifications or alternate solutions proposed by project teams to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain structural integrity.
- Technical Analysis:

- Perform structural calculations and analyses using engineering software tools to validate design assumptions, verify load capacities, and assess structural behavior under various conditions.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and other advanced modeling techniques to evaluate complex structural systems and dynamic loading scenarios.
- Prepare detailed reports, memos, and presentations summarizing design review findings, technical analyses, and recommendations for design improvements or corrective actions.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors, to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the design review process.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical insights clearly and professionally to project stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Participate in design meetings, project reviews, and quality assurance processes to ensure that structural design objectives are achieved within project constraints and timelines.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design review and analysis.
