IT service delivery associate

The Service associate is responsible for ensuring that the services provided to customers are delivered reliably and cost-effectively. In addition, this role helps to coordinate the activities of all other service providers and ensure that there is effective communication between them. It may also be responsible for analyzing performance and recommending improvements where necessary.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage IT assets and resources to ensure that they are running efficiently.
- Drive together with business the effective product delivery, support engineering work and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products
- Drive IT innovation for respective products together with your teams
- Grow teams and individuals by setting them up for success through supporting their skill development
- Provide context, support and guidance to enable the teams to work toward given objectives
- Drive technology renewal and will strive for making use of all technological opportunities incl. Open Source to further boost the value delivery for the products
- Day to day operational support
- Developing a thorough understanding of the local and global production environment
- Identification, analysis, and problem solving encompassing a broad range of technical issues.
- Interacting with other support groups (local and global) within the firm across multiple platforms.
- Prioritize global and local projects.
- Communicating with Business and Operations on scheduled changes to production environment and addressing their concerns.
- Manage events such as infrastructure changes, software releases, BCP, etc.
- Training of new users.
- After hrs/weekend work would be required from time to time.
- Involvement in local audits (Internal and External).
- Managing local relationships with existing vendor

**Skills**
- Technical expertise: IT service delivery associates should have a strong understanding of a variety of IT systems, technologies, and tools, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise.
- Customer service skills: IT service delivery associates should have excellent customer service skills, as they will often be working directly with customers or internal users to provide support and assistance.
- Communication skills: IT service delivery associates should have strong verbal and written communication skills, as they will need to be able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users and document their work.
- Problem-solving skills: IT service delivery associates should be able to identify and resolve issues that arise in a timely and effective manner.
- Time management skills: IT service delivery associates should be able to manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure that IT services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Teamwork skills: IT service delivery associates may work closely with other IT professionals, so it is important to be able to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail: IT service delivery associates should have strong attention to detail, as even small mistakes or oversights can have significant consequences in the IT field.
