What does an On-site Logistics Operations Manager do?

The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for managing logistics operations in KSA. The Manager has overall responsibility for the assigned customer accounts and needs to ensure: excellent customer service, superb clients’ relations, and satisfaction, healthy profitability levels, productivity improvements, adequate staffing, high employee engagement, employee´s training and development. The Manager also surfaces and implements growth opportunities for our services and new clients. There will be a Team Leader reporting to the Logistics Manager.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Logistics - focused Bachelor's Degree
- International & Domestic logistics experience: transportation, fleet, customs, warehousing, supply chain principles, geographical concerns, political nuances of economic zones
- Proven leadership & issue resolution skills
- Fluent level in Arabic & English
- Decision-making & planning skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations
- Act as a primary point of contact for the customers
- Ensure client satisfaction and superb relations
- Ensure prompt issue resolution
- Drive corrective actions or issues needing additional attention
- Publish metrics measuring client, team, and individual performance
- Participating in client & internal meetings
- Manage and monitor the staff
- Surface and implement productivity improvements
- Identify and manage technological advancements
- Periodically travel to client’s location
- Identify & suggest continuous improvement opportunities for process efficiency
- Supervise employees ( coaching, performance reviews, employee growth & engagement )
- Manage special projects
- Support marketing efforts such as article publications, launching campaigns
