We live inclusion. **Project Overview**: *** **Role Summary** *** **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** The Client is embarking upon a significant capital program to create the capital of entertainment, sports, and the arts in Riyadh. The program will be an integrated destinations offering immersive experiences and memorable moments of delight. The program will involve parallel development and execution of a broad range of assets encompassing leisure, sports, cultural, retail, hospitality, religious, residential, transport and infrastructure. As a member of the Senior Management team, the Director Project Integration and Interface role is considered a key function for providing accountability to develop the project integration and interface strategies and execution plans required for the project. This role will be given the authority to execute approved strategies and plans for the project and prepare and drive the team to meet evolving project’s needs. The role will also provide and seek regular feedback and input from the Senior Management team and Client stakeholders. The following provides a summary of essential duties and responsibilities applicable to the role: - Manage Project Integration, notably the interfaces and dependencies between and within the Program's Projects themselves, as well as the integration between the Projects and the supporting functions - Establish a formal integrated structure to support the Project delivery in line with overall Program delivery. - Manage the interdependencies across Projects, within the Projects and the supporting functions within the project. - Develop and maintain a phasing strategy and plans for the Client's Projects in line with overall Program Phasing Strategy and plans. - Develop phasing and Works packaging strategies - Develop a construction phasing / handover strategy and plan for the Project to ensure that work packages are appropriately phased to suit the Program construction requirements and the operation teams' requirements. - Identify major Project interfaces and interdependencies to enable comprehensive collaboration and seamless construction phasing without hindering any design / construction work. - Oversee all aspects of Project integration management to enable the various elements of the Program to be properly coordinated - Identify scope gaps, conflicts, errors, and problems that may exist in the rights, duties, responsibilities and scope identified within and between the various design, procurement and construction Projects and contracts. - Manage all interfaces and construction activity between the various contracts that exist or will exist. - Establish interface management teams to identify and manage critical interdependencies and gaps in scope ownership between Projects - Develop, maintain, and implement detailed Project construction phasing in line with the Project Execution Plan. - manage the testing and commissioning process - Provide Project specific resources and expertise in integrated systems testing, start up, commissioning, and training functions - Ensure appropriate project integration and interface strategies are considered and captured as part of the design development process - Work closely with delivery teams in the development of construction methodologies, delivery strategies and integrated program. **Technical and speciality skills**: Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management or relevant field of study. 25+ years of experience working within Mega/large scale complex design and construction programs across private and/or government sectors. Must have hands-on experience in delivering projects and have a sound technical and commercial working knowledge.
