**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Your ability to deliver a professional and caring experience can have a big impact for our patients who undergo recurring treatments.
RNs at our clinics work on a regular, predictable schedule each week. With no on-call or night shifts, nurses are able to plan activities and better manage a household. Our low patient to nurse ratio means nurses can work at a normal pace, with time to provide proper clinical care and be attentive to patient well-being.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work collaboratively with clinical and front desk staff to ensure highest level of patient care
- Demonstrate clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations
- Provide intake including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health history
- Assess and document the biometrics and health status of the patient.
- Prepare medications by mixing with diluent solution
- Prepare patients for infusion or injection
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and reactions during infusion, ensuring proper medication administration and patient comfort.
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients
- Adhere to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care
- Ensure patient care is documented in the Electronic Health Record
- Respond to medication reactions by following defined procedures
- Reinforce patient and family education regarding disease processes and treatment side effects
- Triage infusion patient inquiries
- Communicate with referring/prescribing providers, such as order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
- Keep environment clean and disinfected after each patient use
- Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
- Assist with audits and regulatory functions, as needed
- Assist with annual staff review process including skill competency assessments
- Participate in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery, offering suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of patient care.
- Work at multiple centers / facilities within a market as needed
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations

- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- Valid nurse practitioner license
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- RN Degree, BSN Preferred
- Preferred 3 years nursing experience
- 1+ years of infusion experience.
- Current certification or willingness to obtain infusion certification within a year of hire. Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) certification or similar.
- Strong understanding of various infusion therapies, medications, and their potential interactions.
- Proficiency in using infusion pumps and related equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to meet KSA employment and eligibility requirements.
