Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Supervise and lead the stewarding team members, including recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, and employee development. 2. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all food manufacturing, including the preparation and processing areas, staff welfare/ resting areas, all kind of storages, and equipment. 3. Implement and enforce proper sanitation and hygiene practices, including regular cleaning schedules, to meet health and safety regulations and prevent food contamination set by the Quality Department. 4. Maintain and control inventory of cleaning supplies such as detergents, and equipment and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient usage. 5. Collaborate with the production department to submit monthly and quarterly orders and receive necessary supplies, equipment/ tools, and chemicals on time to maintain the minimum stock level in the warehouse and avoid having gaps. 6. Cooperate with the Quality department to develop, update and implement the standard operating procedures (SOPs) shared with the stewarding team, ensuring consistency and efficiency in daily operations. 7. Conduct daily inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs, and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely resolution. 8. Monitor and control the consumption and costs of the chemical supplies regularly with the Production and Finance department and take the necessary actions. 9. Coordinate with other departments, such as Quality, Maintenance, logistic and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. 10. Acquire training from maintenance team on each equipment to perform deep and proper cleaning, and report to the same department the status of each equipment (worn-out, damaged, etc.) 11. Acquire regular and detailed training on each chemical available in the facility from the chemical contractor. 12. Ensure the chemical dispensers available are working and report for any damages. 13. Instruct, lead, and organize daily meetings with the stewarding team to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. 14. Report directly to the Production Manager.
