Chief Scientist

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations by leveraging scientific insights and solutions.
- Lead and manage a team of scientists to provide timely and effective support to plant operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational issues, and develop innovative solutions.
- Proactively monitor and analyze plant performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices for plant operations, in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in scientific and technological advancements related to the oil and energy industry.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services that enhance plant operations.

**Requirements**:

- PhD in a relevant field of science (e.g. chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental science).
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and energy industry, with a focus on plant operations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing scientific solutions to complex problems.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
