Currently enjoying a period of growth in a busy construction sector, our client a leading Project Management Consultancy based in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Associate Director to join their team. This role is a 6-day week.
**Description**:
We are working with a Project Management Consultancy in KSA on an iconic Giga-Project, they are looking for an Associate Director. This person must be Arabic speaking and will be a key member of the Senior Management Team. The location of the project is Western Saudi Arabia.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the commercial strategy for a large-scale Giga Project in Saudi Arabia.
- Manage a Commercial Team consisting of Quantity Surveyors, Contracts Administrators, Estimators and Cost Managers of various levels.
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of complex commercial agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and project goals.
- Manage the financial aspects of the development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Drive the development and implementation of risk management strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.
- Lead the commercial team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards throughout the development process.
- Actively contribute to the overall business strategy and decision-making processes as a key member of the senior leadership team.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience (circa 20+ years) in a senior commercial role and have Middle East experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Must have an MRICS Qualification, member of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors.
- MUST be ARABIC speaking for this position.
- Must have worked for a Consultancy and have both pre & post contract experience.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
