A construction company with a strong presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful completion of construction projects in the healthcare, cultural and hospitality sectors.

Position Overview: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the project manager to ensure the efficient execution of construction projects in Riyadh. Your primary responsibility will be to support the project manager in all aspects of project management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring. Fluency in Arabic and project experience in the healthcare or hospitality sector are highly desirable for this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Project Coordination: Assist the project manager in coordinating all project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement, to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Support the project manager in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and resolve any issues.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Risk Management: Contribute to the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks, working closely with the project manager to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other project-related documentation, ensuring timely and comprehensive reporting.
- Site Supervision: Provide on-site support and supervision as needed, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Procurement Support: Assist in procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Support the implementation and enforcement of health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all project personnel.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to promote effective teamwork and achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably with experience in healthcare, cultural, and hospitality projects.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and industry standards in Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites within Riyadh as needed.
