We are working with a Developer on a Giga Project in a remote area of Western KSA. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Senior Planning Manager.

This person must be a Saudi National.

**The role / responsibilities**:

- Managing resourcing, growing, and developing the planning team as and when required.
- Managing a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.
- Supporting senior management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development or alliance development projects.
- Collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders, building trusting and respectful relationships.
- Working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, and project control methodologies.
- Advising on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
- Manage planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programs.
- Being able to play a key role in multidisciplinary teams and take a lead role in creating plans or analyzing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.
- Setting up effective planning/schedule management systems and procedures.
- Establish scheduling, reporting procedures, tools, templates, instructions etc. to standardize the work across the program.
- Creating and delivering persuasive and engaging presentations to a wide range of audiences in our industry.

**Experience required**:

- 10+ years’ experience in the construction industry. Working for a Developer or Consultancy preferred.
- Possess a degree in Construction Management and / or Civil Engineering and hold a membership/chartership from a construction related professional body.
- Knowledge of construction technology (on-site experience).
- Ability to manage multiple work packages in parallel.
- Ability to maintain proper records and tracking.
- Ability to Make schedule improvement recommendations.
- Ability to interrogate/Challenge programs and critical paths and its logic
- Good verbal and written communication.
