**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide safety training to site personnel, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports outlining root causes and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address safety issues, resolve conflicts, and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices on construction sites.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Stay informed about emerging safety trends, regulations, and best practices in the construction industry, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging active participation, open communication, and recognition of safe behaviors.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a safety officer or safety manager in the construction industry, with a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs.
- Thorough knowledge of construction safety regulations, codes, and standards in KSA.
- Experience conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate safety requirements and motivate personnel at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English. Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to different construction sites within KSA as required.
- Strong leadership skills and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
