**Job description**

The Senior Tax Accountant position is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic accounting/finance professional who seeks to build on their existing accounting and tax experience through in-depth exposure to a fast-paced international business, with focus on the design and operating effectiveness of the Company’s internal control framework. The Finance department of Carrier Saudi Arabia is developmental in nature and employees are assisted in furthering career goals through training and development, strategic networking opportunities and eventual rotation into business unit roles.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**
- VAT preparation & submission as per Local laws & regulation in VAT return filing.
- Withholding Tax Submission.
- Assure accuracy and compliance of e-invoicing Process.
- Vendor payments verification.
- Preparing / Review the Tax Filing Declarations in English / Arabic.
- Maintaining / Preparing Transfer price filing/declaration and provide required Data to Transfer price consultants.
- Compiling and updating US GAAP Tax Requirements for Income and Deferred Tax.
- Facilitate/Provide all data requested by Statutory Auditors including Actuarial and IFRS 16 Leases workings.
- Any other Ad-Hoc reporting requirements as per management direction.

**Education / Certifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business disciplines.
- CPA, ACCA, CIA will be considered a strong plus.

**Experience / Qualifications**
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience with Big 4 or multinational firms within Tax department.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
- Experience in participating in teams successfully and providing on-time deliverables.
- Strong analytical/problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skill and proven presentation skills.
- Strong command of English and Arabic.
- This position is based in Jeddah or Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
