**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES**:
- Responsibility for the technically correct conditions and the timely availability of the segments, which forms a part of the maintenance section.
- Networking between the various maintenance and operation departments to manage scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Conducting of internal meetings within the maintenance section.
- Co-ordination of the interfaces between the maintenance sections.
- Responsibility for appropriate actions in the event of incidents within the maintenance section.
- Tailoring requirements for the recruitment of personnel in co-operation with the human resource manager and suggests training programs for the staff under his management.
- Optimization of maintenance tasks as result of ongoing analysis.
- Review of inspection results and decision making of appropriate actions.
- Analyzing of the maintenance history for the related equipment and facilities.
- Responsibility for the reporting system to ensure the availability of sufficient and suitable spares for his area of supervision.
- Responsibility for a quick / short time availability of suitable manpower, adequate tools and materials in events of incidents
**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant
- 10+ years of relevant working experience
- Good leadership and communication skills. Can understand and explain complex signaling issues in plain simple English and drive resolution.
- Good Experience in the railways field.
- Knowledge of applicable Railway Operations/Maintenance Work Process Procedures as well as relevant procedures and guidelines is desirable.
- Understanding of railway related infrastructure during transition from construction to maintenance is desirable.
- Technical work experience in interface management in metro environment/technical environment
- Handled scope/requirement management of projects
- Experienced in working with signaling system majorly during design, installation, testing and commissioning, operation and maintenance on large complex multidisciplinary projects.
