**Journey Management Specialist**

**Job in brief**

In this role, you will support the planning, monitoring, and execution of daily transportation activities, with a focus on roadway transportation of heavy equipment such as dump trucks, vacuum tankers, etc., while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards tailored to heavy equipment transport.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assist in executing daily transportation plans, communicating journey management activities for personnel/clients, with a focus on roadway transportation of heavy equipment such as dump trucks, vacuum tankers, etc.

Support monitoring and reporting on all allocated/company vehicles, ensuring safety standards compliance within the heavy equipment transportation context.

Conduct periodic road inspections, identifying maintenance or signage needs pertinent to heavy equipment transport.

Assist in performing security and risk surveys, providing recommendations for safety enhancement, particularly tailored to heavy equipment transportation.

Assist in coordinating vehicle assignments, logging complaints, ensuring resolution, with a specific emphasis on heavy equipment fleet management.

Support planning and executing operational vehicle maintenance schedules to safety standards, with a focus on heavy equipment maintenance requirements.

Assist in inspecting company/client vehicles for roadworthiness and safety compliance, with an understanding of heavy equipment specifications and regulations.

Assist in pre-deployment assessments of vehicles and equipment for quality assurance, particularly within the heavy equipment transportation domain.

Collaborate with the Operations Room Coordinator, providing task progress updates related to heavy equipment transportation operations.

Support coordination with administration on drivers' schedules, overtime, and repairs, with a focus on heavy equipment transport personnel.

Prepare timely reports on journey management operations, with a focus on heavy equipment transportation metrics and compliance measures.

**Required Qualification / Experience / Skills**:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field preferred.

Previous experience in transportation coordination or related field is advantageous, particularly in heavy equipment transportation.

Basic understanding of safety standards and transportation regulations, with a specific emphasis on heavy equipment transport protocols and requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to adapt these skills to heavy equipment transportation documentation and reporting.

Strong organizational and communication skills, especially within the context of coordinating heavy equipment transportation activities and personnel.

**Job Location**: Saudi Arabia

**Type of Employment**:Full Time/ Permanent

**Salary: 3K to 6K**/month
