What will you contribute

• A civil engineering degree.
• 1015 years of relevant experience in traffic and transportation engineering.
• Registered as a Professional engineer in the Province of Ontario.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

We are looking for a senior person with proven experience:

• With project management.
• In carrying out multimodal analyzes in a variety of transport infrastructures (highways roadway public transport active transport).
• With various transportation and traffic engineering software such as Aimsun VISSIM Synchro and HCM.
• In developing policies guides or conceptual plans and designs related to soft mobility (traffic calming measures active transportation etc.) and universal accessibility.
• Traffic safety analysis (safety auditing relevant statistical methods and benefit/cost analysis).
• Knowledge of the Ontario Traffic Manual and Ontarios mobility ecosystem.
• Knowledge of municipal traffic policies.
• knowledge of transit operations.
• Knowledge of TAC AASHTO and other applicable Canadian geometric design standards.

Please note that the following will be considered asset:

• Experience in ITS and advanced traffic management systems.
• Experience with temporary conditions and construction staging analysis and traffic controls
• Bilingual French/English.
• Secondary qualifications such as PMP PTOE RSP PTP etc.
