The American International School - Riyadh is seeking a licensed full-time Elementary School Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Please only apply if you meet the minimum criteria below; candidates who do not meet the minimum criteria will not be considered.Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria:Candidate must be a resident of Saudi Arabia and a dependent under her/his husband's/wife's sponsorship (Local Hire Status)Professional Teaching Certification is required. (Elementary School Licensed Educator, North American)Certification in the specific subject area.4 year Bachelor's Degree required.Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.A proven record of excellence in prior full-time Lower Elementary teaching posts for a minimum of two years Fluent English language capacity.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to start work August 6, 2026.Understands and can commit to AIS-R work hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm. Compensation will be determined based on the established Faculty salary schedule.Contractual hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. (5:00 pm on Tuesdays)Faculty are expected to fulfill duties that extend beyond the school day, including commitments to after-school activities (ASAs), after-school learning (ASL), and coaching (requirement for Physical Education teachers). Learning and Growth:  Performance is appraised through the AIS-R Professional Growth and Evaluation framework and in accordance with school policy by the designated Supervisor.
