JASARA PMC is looking for a dedicated and experienced Mobility Planning professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive master plans related to transport and urban planning, specifically focusing on horizontal mobility solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic planning of transportation networks, ensuring they are efficient, accessible, and sustainable.
As part of the Mobility Planning team, you will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and urban planners to create integrated transport solutions that accommodate the growth and development of urban environments. You will analyze current transport systems, forecast future mobility needs, and propose innovative solutions to enhance connectivity and mobility within urban spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement master plans for transport systems in urban planning projects.
- Conduct analyses of existing mobility patterns and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate transportation solutions with urban design.
- Forecast future transport demand and create strategies to meet these needs.
- Engage with stakeholders, including governmental agencies, community groups, and private sector partners, to gather input and support for mobility initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for decision-makers.
- Monitor trends in transportation technology and urban development to suggest innovative solutions.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Facilitate workshops and public consultations to discuss mobility planning strategies.
- Assist in the development of policies and plans to promote sustainable and equitable transportation options.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Pure Elevator experience not preferred.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in mobility planning, transport planning, Master planning, and urban planning.
- Strong knowledge of transportation systems, urban development processes, and related regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in master planning and horizontal mobility solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex data and perform feasibility studies for transportation projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and engage with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in planning software and tools, such as GIS and traffic modeling applications.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices related to urban transportation is a plus.
