We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team and support our infrastructure projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials in accordance with project specifications and timelines, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Manage the full procurement cycle for infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.


• Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to determine material requirements.


• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and prepare comparison sheets and commercial analyses.


• Verify material compliance with project technical specifications (DI / HDPE pipes, water networks, sewage networks, stormwater systems, chambers, fittings, valves, pumps, etc.).


• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure procurement alignment with project needs.


• Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules.


• Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers within the Kingdom to secure competitive pricing and high-quality materials.


• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain an updated list of approved suppliers.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, project standards, and procurement procedures.

Requirements:


• 5–10 years of professional experience in procurement within Saudi Arabia, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.


• Strong background in water networks, sewage networks, stormwater systems, civil and mechanical materials.


• Proven ability to analyze quotations and prepare detailed comparison tables.


• Solid understanding of technical specifications and material submittals.


• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.


• Strong knowledge of the Saudi market and local suppliers.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
