Position Overview:

The Specialist Graphic Designer will play a key role in creating visually compelling content for Charmaleena, focusing on branding, marketing, and storytelling through motion graphics, photography, and social media content. This role requires a creative individual with a strong eye for detail, a passion for jewellery design, and the ability to lead and collaborate with a team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the brand's visual identity, creating engaging content, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research & Innovation:

  2. Stay updated on industry trends and find innovative ways to apply new ideas to Charmaleena's content.

  3. Content Creation:

  4. Create and curate daily Instagram content (photos, videos, and stories) that showcases the brand's services, creativity, and the story behind the jewellery.

  5. Ensure at least 3 high-quality grid pictures are posted every 2 days.

  6. Develop Instagram stories and other social media content to engage the audience.

  7. Creative Development:

  8. Present a new creative idea every week, supported by saved references from other brands.

  9. Create mood boards for projects and seasonal campaigns to guide visual direction.

  10. Collaborate with the creative director on jewellery line presentations and Photoshop edits.

  11. Project Management:

  12. Maintain a weekly schedule of tasks, tracking achievements and pending wor

  13. Organize and update Dropbox weekly, ensuring all files are properly labeled and accessible.

  14. Follow up on calendar tasks and ensure timely delivery of all projects.

  15. Team Collaboration & Leadership:

  16. Act as a team leader by following up on pending tasks and ensuring smooth workflow.

  17. Communicate regularly with the team and creative director to share progress, ideas, and plans.

  18. Collaborate with the team to develop projects and optimize presentation skills.

  19. Brand Optimization:

  20. Build and maintain a list of jewellery brand references to inspire and enhance creativity.

  21. Ensure all content aligns with Charmaleena's brand identity and marketing goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the luxury or jewellery industry.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

  • Strong understanding of motion graphics and video editing.

  • Excellent photography and photo editing skills.

  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ideas.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Leadership skills to guide and collaborate with a team.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Attention to detail and a passion for storytelling through visuals.
