Job Title: SAP PM Consultant (Pharmaceutical Industry) 

Job Summary

A job description for an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) role in the pharmaceutical industry should emphasize both SAP PM expertise and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical plant maintenance processes and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

·       SAP PM Configuration and Customization:

Configure and customize the SAP PM module to meet specific business needs, including master data setup (equipment, functional locations, maintenance plans, etc.), maintenance strategies, and workflow configurations. 

·       Maintenance Planning and Execution:

Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (breakdown maintenance), and predictive maintenance. 

·       Master Data Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data within SAP PM, ensuring data consistency and integrity. 

·       Integration with Other SAP Modules:

Collaborate with teams in other SAP modules (e.g., PP, QM, MM) to ensure seamless integration and data flow. 

·       Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

Analyze and resolve issues within the SAP PM module, working with technical teams as needed. 

·       Documentation and Training:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP PM processes and configurations. Provide training to end-users on SAP PM functionalities. 

·       Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

Ensure that SAP PM processes adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and other relevant pharmaceutical industry standards. 

·       System Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor the performance of the SAP PM module and identify areas for optimization and improvement.

·       Project Support:

Participate in projects related to SAP PM implementation, upgrades, or enhancements. 

3. Required Skills and Experience:

• SAP PM Expertise: Extensive experience with SAP PM configuration, master data management, maintenance planning, and execution.
• Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
• SAP Functional Knowledge: Understanding of other relevant SAP modules (e.g., PP, QM, MM) and their integration with PM.
• Technical Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues related to SAP PM.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues related to SAP PM.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Documentation and Training Skills: Ability to create clear and concise documentation and provide effective training.
• Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, particularly GMP. 
• Minimum 1 End to End Implementation & 1 Roll-out in pharma industry is must.

4. Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification: SAP Plant Maintenance certification.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA: Familiarity with the latest version of SAP.
