    Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for hotel construction projects from initiation to handover.
  • Develop project objectives, timelines, KPIs, and master schedules aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site evaluations, and risk assessments prior to project launch.
  • Coordinate all pre-construction activities including planning, budgeting, permits, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and hospitality consultants throughout design phases.
  • Review and approve drawings, BOQs, specifications, and value-engineering proposals.
  • Ensure all governmental permits, regulatory approvals, and compliance documentation are obtained on time.
  • Oversee all construction works on-site to ensure adherence to quality, safety, hospitality standards, and timeline.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, resolve issues, and enforce corrective measures when needed.
  • Review contractors' progress reports, schedules, shop drawings, material submissions, and change orders.
  • Ensure all construction aligns with hotel operational needs (BOH layouts, guestrooms, kitchens, MEP, etc.).
  • Act as primary liaison with ownership, hotel operators, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly progress meetings, design coordination meetings, and executive updates.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, procurement strategies, and cash-flow forecasts.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure strict adherence to cost-control procedures.
  • Oversee tender processes, vendor evaluations, negotiations, and contract award recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, safety guidelines, and hotel brand standards.
  • Implement quality control and safety management procedures across the project lifecycle.
  • Direct testing & commissioning, mock-up room approvals, and MEP system verifications.
  • Manage snagging and de-snagging activities until final acceptance and handover.
  • Ensure complete delivery of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and handover documentation.
  • Support hotel operator during pre-opening, soft opening, and operational transition phases.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams including managers, engineers, and site supervisors.
  • Foster a proactive, collaborative, and performance-driven project environment.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted project progress.

  • Ensure transparent communication and timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum
    20+ years of experience
    in large-scale construction, with at least
    8 years in hotel projects
    .
  • Proven record of delivering 4-star or 5-star hotel projects from design to opening.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, luxury finishes, and international hotel brand requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and construction documentation.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic or French is an advantage).
