Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a Senior Veeam Backup Engineer. The Senior Backup Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing backup and recovery solutions. Key tasks include monitoring and optimizing backup systems, ensuring data integrity and availability, troubleshooting backup-related issues, and implementing disaster recovery processes. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and compliance with data security policies.

  • Strong expertise in backup ,VMware, Storage, HPE, Datacenter passive and recovery management, data storage systems, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with backup tools and solutions such as Veeam.
  • Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to backup performance and data integrity.
  • Knowledge of data security standards, compliance regulations, and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency in system administration and network configurations as they pertain to data storage and backups.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Professional certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., Veeam Certified Engineer, Commvault Certified Professional) are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery environments.
