Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for selling Gates' products face-to-face and remote selling to both new and existing key customers. Research customer needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner to determine market strategies and goals for each product and service.
  • Take responsibility for and making every effort to resolve communication, trust and respect concerns and problems. Implement strategies to accelerate growth of new and additional products and/or new markets. Identifying and contacting prospective customers and building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition. Has primary accountability for the performance and revenue results for assigned accounts and additional accountability for strategic initiatives.
  • Sales Planning and Development: Plan, follow-up, and develop sales actions and service activities for existing and prospective customers in Saudi Arabia.
  • Goal Achievement: Ensure the achievement of sales/service goals and market penetration for all Gates Product Divisions/Markets.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers on purchasing and technical levels to address problems or explore business opportunities.
  • Brand Awareness: Promote Gates E & S by providing information on product range and sales/service solutions to clients and potential customers.
  • Market Understanding: Analyze market and competition, translating strategies into specific actions to support the Gates brand and market share. Conduct market studies to define appropriate actions.

  • Account and Distributor Management: Experience in managing customer accounts and distributors.
  • Selling Skills: Strong selling skills with a preference for previous experience.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Problem Resolution: Ability to professionally resolve common customer problems and concerns.

Requirements And Preferred Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree
  • Communication and Presentation: Experience communicating with diverse groups/customers at different knowledge levels; strong presentation skills.
  • Essential Traits: Diplomacy, availability, punctuality, product knowledge, discretion, personality, organizational skills, self-motivation, market knowledge, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • Personal Attributes: Methodical, dynamic, positive attitude, analytical and synthetic thinking, inquisitiveness, sense of responsibility, ability to work independently using Gates marketing philosophy, integrity, and honesty.
  • Customer Knowledge: Familiarity with customer needs and product/service requirements in the area.
