Role Summary

Lead Wafer's digital product roadmap end-to-end—turning business goals into clear product specs, coordinating delivery across engineering, design, QA, and operations, and ensuring timely, high-quality releases that delight investors and meet regulatory expectations.

What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap:
    Convert company strategy and OKRs into a quarterly product roadmap with clear scope, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Translate requirements:
    Run discovery with business, operations, and compliance to turn requirements into PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UX flows.
  • Be the bridge:
    Liaise daily between business, tech, design, data, and external vendors to unblock work and drive alignment on priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Backlog & sprints:
    Prioritize the backlog, plan sprints, and manage ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews, retros) to maximize delivery throughput.
  • Ship quality:
    Partner with QA to define test plans, UAT scripts, and release checklists; oversee release readiness and post-release monitoring.
  • Measure & improve:
    Define product KPIs, instrument analytics, run experiments, and iterate based on data (conversion, activation, retention, NPS).
  • Risk & compliance:
    Ensure features align with KYC/AML, investor suitability, disclosures, and local regulatory standards (e.g., CMA/SAMA expectations).
  • Stakeholder comms:
    Provide crisp status updates, risk/issue logs, and decision memos for leadership; manage change requests with impact analysis.
  • Vendor & integration mgmt:
    Coordinate with integration partners (payments, KYC/identity, custodians, market data, core banking) and manage SLAs.
  • Process excellence:
    Continuously improve delivery processes, templates, and tooling (Jira/ADO, Confluence/Notion, Figma, analytics).

Requirements

  • 5–7 years
    of product or project management experience in tech; proven end-to-end delivery.
  • Strong understanding of
    FinTech/investment platforms
    (e.g., onboarding, KYC/AML, payments, orders/subscriptions, statements, reporting).
  • Solid grasp of
    Agile delivery
    (Scrum/Kanban), user-story writing, acceptance criteria, and release management.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in
    product analytics
    (events, funnels, dashboards, experimentation).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business, engineering, and compliance.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
    (spoken and written).
  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have

  • Experience in
    Saudi
    or GCC financial services; familiarity with
    CMA/SAMA
    guidelines.
  • Background working with
    cloud (Azure/AWS)
    , APIs/integrations, or complex multi-party workflows.
  • Exposure to
    UX research
    and
    Figma
    ; ability to draft low-fi flows/wireframes.
  • Certifications:
    PSM/PSPO, PMP, ICP-ACC
    , or similar.

Jira or Azure DevOps, Confluence/Notion, Figma, Postman/Swagger, SQL basics, Product analytics (Mixpanel/GA/Amplitude), BI (Power BI/Looker).
