Architectural Draftsman (Engineering Consultancy)

Job Description:

An experienced Architectural Draftsman with over
two years of professional experience
working exclusively within an
engineering consultancy firm
.

Specializes in preparing complete architectural drawings and professionally formatted documentation suitable for submission to municipalities and official authorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing
    full architectural drawing packages
    (design, detailed, and submission drawings) in compliance with
    municipality and regulatory requirements
    .
  • Producing professional drawings ready for
    government approval and permit issuance
    .
  • Developing architectural shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Preparing drawings for design development, tender, and construction phases.
  • Revising and updating drawings based on authority comments, client requests, and technical reviews.
  • Ensuring full compliance with consultancy quality control standards and local building regulations.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD and professional drafting tools to deliver accurate and high-quality outputs.

The candidate shows excellent attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a clear understanding of engineering consultancy procedures and official submission requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Architectural Drawings, including detailed and accurate technical drafting
  • Comprehensive understanding of Architecture and Planning principles
  • Skills in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings
  • Proficiency in Drawing techniques and using relevant design software
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus
  • Experience with 2D and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
    is a plus
