Contract Manager (FIDIC-based Contracts)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Contract Manager
to lead and oversee all commercial activities related to
FIDIC-based contracts
. You will play a key role in minimizing financial and contractual risks while driving successful project outcomes. This leadership position requires deep expertise in
FIDIC contract administration
,
financial oversight
, and
risk management
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all commercial aspects of FIDIC-based contracts.
  • Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts in compliance with FIDIC standards.
  • Handle variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes effectively.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing contract administration team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Represent the company in key commercial negotiations and discussions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum
    7 years' experience
    in contract or commercial management, ideally with FIDIC-based contracts.
  • Proven expertise in
    FIDIC contract principles and procedures
    .
  • Strong background in
    financial management
    and
    budgetary control
    .
  • Excellent
    negotiation, communication, and leadership
    skills.
  • Proficiency in
    contract management software
    and
    Microsoft Office Suite
    .
  • High attention to detail and analytical capability.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Business Administration
    ,
    Construction Management
    ,
    Law
    , or a related field.
