Role Summary

The Registrar Pediatric Neurologist will support the Consultant Pediatric Neurologist in delivering high-quality care for children with neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders. The role focuses primarily on assisting in outpatient clinics, conducting initial evaluations, and supporting the assessment and management of conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delay, epilepsy, and language or learning disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in pediatric neurology and neurodevelopment clinics under supervision of the Consultant.
  • Perform detailed clinical histories, neurological and developmental examinations.
  • Participate in the diagnostic evaluation of children with ASD, ADHD, developmental delay, epilepsy, and related disorders.
  • Support multidisciplinary assessments with psychology, speech and occupational therapy teams.
  • Prepare clinical summaries, follow-up plans, and assist in care coordination with families.
  • Contribute to maintaining accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Engage in case discussions, teaching sessions, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Participate in continuing professional development and maintain active SCFHS registration.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
  • Completed residency in Pediatrics
  • Completed or currently enrolled training in Pediatric Neurology.
  • Valid or eligible licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
