Overview:
- Participate in identifying and executing improvement opportunities and action plans based on actual performance.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by all direct reports.
- Perform periodic performance appraisals for direct reports.
- Ensure the performance of various assigned responsibilities and the conduct of the staff is in accordance with CLIENT's policies and procedures.
- Optimize the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned responsibilities and ensure timely completion according to set standards.
- Identify the competencies and knowledge required for direct reports to perform their assigned responsibilities, and develop appropriate training plans to enhance performance.
- Cascade CLIENT's operational priorities including profitability, reliability, safety & environmental requirements to all direct reports and support them in executing the daily activities in line with these priorities.
- Understand well by following the Operation SOP with procedure of start-up & shutdown.
- Perform the JTS (Job Task Standard) given by Branch Manager.
- Compliance with safety PPE.
- Assisting in supervising all activities and adherence to Operating Instructions.
- Assisting in supervising operations and equipment according to daily operating instructions and procedures.
- Ensure that facility operating parameters are within acceptable limits.
- Assisting in implementing corrective actions to mitigate operational shutdowns in accordance with the relevant policies and instructions.
- Ensure issued work permits are in accordance with guidelines and ensure that the plant's manpower resources are sufficient for meeting operational targets.
- Assisting in resolving system and equipment malfunctions proactively and in a cost-effective manner.
- Participate in risk assessment studies (such as Job Safety Analysis) as requested by direct supervisor.
- Implement all safety, environmental and health protection policies and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by Management.
- Supervise daily operations and ensure all activities comply with CLIENT policies, safety rules, and operational standards.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of operational work.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide feedback to direct reports.
- Identify training needs and support staff development to improve skills and competencies.
- Ensure adequate manpower allocation and proper use of resources to meet operational targets.
- Communicate operational priorities and ensure team alignment with safety, reliability, and efficiency goals.
- Resolve operational issues, provide guidance to staff, and escalate critical matters when required.
- Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and adherence to procedures by all supervised personnel.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering or mechanical Engineering.
- 10 years of experience relevant to the job responsibilities and functions.
- Preferable: professional certification (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, Lean Management).
