Job Title:

Civil Inspector

Qualification:

Diploma or technical certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a site inspector in airport, road, and infrastructure projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect civil works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Oversee the quality of materials and construction activities performed by contractors at all project stages.
• Participate in the inspection of works before, during, and after execution, and report any technical observations to the supervising engineer.
• Verify contractor compliance with safety and occupational health procedures at the worksite.
• Document completed works and prepare daily progress and observation reports.
• Supervise material and concrete testing to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Report any defects or non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate continuously with engineers and consultants to ensure smooth workflow and quality performance.
• Attend site meetings to follow up on project progress and address field issues.

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of civil and structural standards and specifications.
• Strong ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
• High attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prepare accurate daily technical reports.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards on-site.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
