Introduction

We are looking to hire a
QC Architectural Engineer - Technical Office (Ready to join immediately)
to ensure quality and compliance across all architectural design and documentation work for a project in Riyadh. This position is responsible for reviewing architectural submissions, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining technical accuracy across deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Review architectural drawings, details, material specifications, and design reports for completeness and compliance with project standards.
  • Check coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and highlight conflicts or missing details.
  • Review and comment on architectural shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and method statements.
  • Maintain and update architectural document registers, revision logs, and QC tracking sheets.
  • Ensure all deliverables follow the approved QA/QC procedures and project numbering/formatting systems.
  • Work with design and site teams to resolve discrepancies, RFIs, and design clarification requests.
  • Conduct quality checks on layouts, sections, and details to ensure consistency and alignment with project requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and verify compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality procedures.
  • Review contractor architectural ITPs, QCPs, and test reports from a technical office perspective.
  • Support technical evaluations, and compliance checks for architectural components.
  • Prepare QC comments, consolidate feedback, and ensure timely close-out of actions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
  • Ready to join immediately
  • 5-7 years
    experience in architectural technical office or QC roles.
  • Strong understanding of architectural codes, building materials, and design standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM tools, and document control platforms.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to identify drafting or coordination inconsistencies.
