Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Acoustics to manage and execute projects involving acoustic design, installation, and commissioning. The candidate should have hands-on experience in acoustic treatments, soundproofing materials, and noise control systems used in buildings, studios, theatres, offices, and other commercial or residential spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage acoustic projects from design to completion, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections and acoustic measurements to assess existing noise levels and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to integrate acoustic designs into project plans.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and technical documentation related to acoustic systems and materials.
  • Coordinate procurement and installation of acoustic panels, insulation materials, and soundproofing components.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and acoustic standards.
  • Perform testing and commissioning to verify performance and quality.
  • Prepare project reports, BOQs, and client presentations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Acoustic Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in acoustic or noise control projects.
  • Knowledge of acoustic simulation software (e.g., EASE, Odeon, Insul) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of materials used in sound absorption, insulation, and vibration control.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities.
  • UAE experience and valid driving license preferred.
