Head of esign and Visual Merchandising

We are looking for an outstanding Head of Design & Visual Merchandising to be based in Riyadh, to shape the physical identity of a leading luxury/lifestyle brand across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

This is not just a design role; this is the opportunity to personally define how our brand is experienced in every showroom, every season, and every customer moment. Reporting directly to the Chairwoman.

Responsibilities:

Interior Design Leadership

• Develop and execute a cohesive interior design strategy for all new and existing showrooms (Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Bahrain).
• Lead the full cycle of showroom design: concept development, space planning, 3D rendering, material selection, lighting design, furniture placement, and final installation.
• Personally oversee final product selection and approval in direct collaboration with the Chairwoman to ensure perfect alignment with the brand's vision and quality standards.
• Create design guidelines and brand standards to ensure consistency while allowing regional adaptation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee renovations, expansions, and pop-up activations.

Visual Merchandising Excellence

• Design and implement seasonal and campaign-based visual merchandising plans that drive footfall and conversion.
• Curate product stories, lifestyle vignettes, and thematic displays that highlight collections and maximize sales per square meter.
• Author and maintain the official Visual Merchandising Guidelines for the brand, serving as the definitive reference document for all showrooms across KSA and Bahrain, and update it biannually to reflect evolving brand direction and market trends.
• Train and lead VM teams to maintain flawless daily standards across all locations.
• Monitor and analyze showroom performance metrics (dwell time, sales by zone, customer feedback) and iterate displays accordingly.
• Introduce innovative VM techniques (digital integration, interactive elements, experiences).
• Act as the central coordination link between Retail Operations, the Chairwoman, and Marketing team for all campaigns highlighting new arrivals, ensuring seamless translation of marketing concepts into in-store executions, unified messaging, and timely roll-out across all touchpoints.

Team & Project Management

• Build and mentor a team of interior designers, visual merchandisers, and stylists across KSA & Bahrain.
• Manage external creative agencies, photographers, and stylists for campaigns and photoshoots.
• Prepare and control the annual creative budget.
• Present concepts, mood boards, and progress updates to the Chairwoman and Executive Committee.

Brand & Market Insight

• Conduct regular competitor and trend analysis.
• Integrate cultural nuances and local tastes while preserving the brand's aesthetic.
• Partner with Marketing to ensure showroom designs align with omni-channel campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design Management and Visual Design to oversee and guide creative projects effectively.
• Experience in Product Design and Branding to ensure products align with the brand's aesthetic and functional goals.
• Knowledge of Interior Design with the ability to craft innovative and visually appealing spaces for various settings.
• Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making skills are required.
• Strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences is highly desirable.

Relevant educational qualifications in Design, Interior Design, or a related field are preferred.
