Role & responsibilities

To manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, and support the preparation of financial statements according to company policies and accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Record and post daily accounting transactions (payments, receipts, journal entries, etc.).
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations.
  • Verify and record supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and other departments when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 25 years of experience in general accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., MS 365, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
