Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, KSA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop structural design concepts and detailed analysis for buildings and related structures.
  • Perform structural analysis and design of concrete and/or steel structures using relevant software.
  • Prepare structural drawings, calculations, design reports, and specifications for tender and construction.
  • Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams to ensure structural feasibility and clash-free design.
  • Check and validate design outputs, including peer review and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Review and respond to RFIs, shop drawings, and material submittals related to structural works.
  • Support value engineering exercises and propose alternative structural solutions where needed.
  • Provide technical support during site inspections and construction stages (if part of scope).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 4–8 years of experience in structural design for building projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (e.g. ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of international design codes (e.g. ACI, AISC, BS/EC) and local regulations.
  • Experience in producing and reviewing structural drawings and calculation packages.
  • Ability to coordinate with architects and MEP engineers and resolve technical issues.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in technical reporting.
  • Professional membership / registration is an advantage.
