Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer based in Jeddah. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical systems, developing detailed machine designs, and creating technical drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Additional responsibilities include participating in research and development (R&D) for process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage and oversee projects, and ensuring adherence to technical standards and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
  • Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating and analyzing technical drawings
  • Project Management skills with the ability to oversee timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and improve engineering solutions
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of international engineering codes and standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Prior experience in construction or electro-mechanical engineering is advantageous
