Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
, responsible for designing, customizing, and developing Odoo ERP modules and integrating them with internal and external business systems. The role includes analyzing requirements, translating business processes into technical designs, building new modules, enhancing existing functionalities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth deployment and post-implementation support. The developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performance ERP solutions. Additional responsibilities include coding back-end applications, integrating Odoo components with third-party systems, preparing technical documentation, and staying up to date with the latest Odoo features, development practices, and trends to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development, including work on Odoo 14 or newer versions.
  • Proven ability to design and develop custom Odoo modules from scratch.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with the Odoo ORM framework.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and core computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience in back-end development, software programming, and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including database queries and structure.
  • Experience working with XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and QWeb templates.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Experience using Git (GitHub/GitLab) for version control.
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred).
  • Experience with , Docker, or cloud deployments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time-management and organizational abilities.
  • Odoo Functional Certification or related professional training is an added advantage.
