We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead all technical aspects of our projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Saudi Arabia, strong leadership capabilities, and comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, fit-out, BIM, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the technical team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Implement and manage BIM processes (Revit, AutoCAD) to enhance project coordination, clash detection, and project delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, local regulations, and client requirements across all project phases.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to resolve technical challenges and optimize solutions.
  • Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, technical compliance, and progress.
  • Manage value engineering and cost-effective technical solutions without compromising quality.
  • Lead technical audits, risk assessments, and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all technical reports, progress, and approvals.
  • Drive innovation, best practices, and adoption of new construction technologies.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture (master's degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in construction, interior fit-out, and technical management.
  • Proven experience in Saudi Arabia with leading construction or fit-out companies.
  • Strong BIM expertise (Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Deep knowledge of structural and architectural coordination.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, quality control, and safety standards in KSA.
  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Ability to review and approve technical submittals and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards and LEED certification processes is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Arabic Language is a must, and a strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple high-profile projects simultaneously.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to visit project sites frequently.
