Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role of Chief Surveyor located in Al Wajh, Saudi Arabia. The Chief Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating survey-related activities, ensuring accuracy and reliability in measurements and data collection for construction projects. Key tasks include supervising survey teams, conducting land surveys, interpreting project blueprints, preparing survey reports, and coordinating with project managers on progress and requirements. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with technical standards and maintaining proper use of survey equipment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in land surveying techniques, tools, and technologies, including total stations, GPS, and laser scanning equipment
  • Strong experience in construction site management, survey coordination, and interpreting project blueprints or technical drawings
  • Ability to prepare and review detailed survey reports and manage the accuracy of data collection
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards related to civil and electromechanical works and compliance requirements
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage survey teams and collaborate with project stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as CAD and other surveying applications, is preferred
