Job Purpose
Responsible for efficiently unpacking, organizing, and managing raw materials to ensure their availability for production. This role ensures accurate material handling, timely delivery, and compliance with quality and safety standards to support smooth production operations.
Key Accountability Areas
Unpacking and Organizing Raw Materials:
- Receive and unpack raw material shipments, ensuring that materials are accurately identified and checked for quality and quantity.
- Sort, label, and organize raw materials in designated storage areas to ensure easy access and swift delivery to the production lines as needed.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of materials received, including updating stock levels, tracking material usage, and ensuring that materials are available when required.
- Monitor stock levels of frequently used materials and notify the relevant department when restocking is required.
Quality Control and Inspection:
- Conduct visual inspections of materials for any defects or damage during unpacking and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Collaboration with Production Teams:
- Collaborate with production line managers and operators to ensure that the materials required for production are prepared and available in a timely manner.
Health, Safety, and Organization:
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines when handling materials, ensuring that proper lifting techniques and safety measures are followed to prevent accidents or damage.
- Keep the material storage areas and workstations tidy and organized, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.

- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
